For decades, HBCUs have taken a secondary role in the world of recruiting. Whether it’s a lack of media coverage, lack of prospective combines, or simply hyperlinking a HBCU program under a prospect’s college choices on their recruiting profile.
Despite the recent bursts of exposure in the HBCU landscape,, recruiting has not reached its full potential.
HBCU 365 began as a simple idea in 2017 the mind of a recruiting analyst working for a major recruiting service. A “two-star” recruit would receive a major rollout for committing to a FBS program. However, a recruit of the same caliber committing to a HBCU program would receive silence. What makes the latter’s commitment minuscule? The system was and quite frankly still is flawed.
We aspire to develop pipeline relationships with high school and post-grad coaches AROUND the country. Whether it is a coach in Raleigh, North Carolina or San Bernardino, California… We are here to serve as the premier recruiting outlet for ALL athletes aspiring to play at a Historically Black College or University.
